Last night we held our 2007 Annual Chicago Gala at the Union League Club of Chicago. A good crowd turned out to hear Missouri State Senator Delbert Scott, Former U.S. Representative Melissa Hart, and U.S. Senator Sam Brownback speak. The text of Senator Brownback’s speech has been posted on his blog, The Daily Brownbacker. At the end of the evening, Oklahoma State Senator James Williamson was presented with the AUL Defender of Life Award.

If you attended the Gala, we thank you. If you missed this year’s Gala, you’ll want to make plans to attend in 2008. The Gala is held in late September or early October each year, and I’ll post more information as plans fall into place.
