In today’s fast-paced environment, rapid advances in biotechnology pose increasing political, legal, and ethical problems. We also face other serious challenges to life on issues related to abortion, healthcare rights of conscience, and the end of life. These challenges call for increased education and training of individuals who will be future pro-life leaders. One of Americans United for Life’s (AUL) core missions is to educate law students to be thought leaders for the future of the pro-life movement.
To accomplish this goal, the AUL Fellowship Program identifies future pro-life leaders through a competitive application process and seeks to deepen their commitment to life and to equip them with the necessary experience to play future leadership roles in the pro-life movement. Qualifications for becoming an AUL Fellow include a demonstrated commitment to life issues and proven academic excellence. Additionally, we look for individuals who stand out to the faculty of their law school.
