Hate Mail

by Matthew Eppinette on September 30, 2008

A good indicator of how the pro-life position is winning is the extreme rhetoric people use in opposing it. The more ground the pro-life position gains, the more extreme the rhetoric we hear form those who oppose us. Hate mail is a good case in point.

As you may know, the AUL 2008 Annual Gala — featuring keynote speaker Ramesh Ponnuru — is coming up October 9 at the Palmer House Hilton of Chicago. As organizations do, we have been sending out invitations by mail and by email.

Many have responded, almost all of them positively. But in one of the reply envelopes, we received the flyer below (click on the image for a larger version).?

I’m not sure I understand how it is that those of us who are working to protect life are to be equated with one of the most life-destroying regimes that ever existed. Some people just have too much time on their hands, I suppose.

By the way, seats are still available for the Gala.

My guess is the person who mailed that back doesn’t have much of an education. :) Keep up the good work :)
