Overwhelming response to FightFOCA.com

by Daniel McConchie on November 6, 2008

In light of the win Tuesday by Barack Obama and increasing numbers of pro-abortion politicians who will be populating Congress, the public is starting to wake up to the radical agenda promoted by Planned Parenthood in this election.

Barack Obama promised the Planned Parenthood Action Fund that the first thing he would do as President was sign the radical “Freedom of Choice Act” (FOCA) into law.  FOCA will eliminate every limitation on abortion nationwide.

Thousands of people have already signed the petition.  If you haven’t yet done so, please visit www.FightFOCA.com now and add your name to the growing list of people making their voice heard.

If you have signed it already, please send an email to like-minded friends and family and get them to join the movement.

I would strongly recommend that we stop referring to this dreadful piece of legislation as “FOCA”. The name of the bill is the “Freedom Of Choice Act”. This is awful abortionist doublespeak.

The “FOCA” would allow unlimited killing of human beings in the unborn stage. It is an inhuman bill which could cost hundreds of thousands of children their lives over the course of many years.

I suggest that we call it what it is:

“THE KILLING UNBORN CHILDREN ACT”.

Calling it the “Freedom Of Choice Act” only helps the anti-life movement because who isn’t for “freedom” and for “choice”? We really need to win the battle of language if we are to have the unborn human rights movement (I think we should call our movement this) prevail in this great struggle.

I think that getting the public to oppose the “Killing Unborn Children Act” will be easier than the “Freedom Of Choice Act”.

Anybody else feel the same way?

I strongly suggest that time be taken to batch the names according to their congressional representatives. That way, in addition to the comprehensive list being sent to Congress as a whole, each representative can be sent a list of the voters in his or her district who oppose FOCA.

Can you post the number of people who have signed the petition? This would be a very useful bit of information to put on the fightfoca.com website.

Abortion is disgusting! STD’s are already rampant must we lead to a society of infertile, non productive humans

I agree that the “Freedom of Choice Act” is a nice sounding name for a horrid piece of legislation. Let’s call it what it is. I wish I could come up with something that had the same initals and used the word Freedom …Let’s see Freeedom to Obliterate unborn Children Act.

Go to NARAL’s own Pro-Choiceamerica.org site to find the Congressional Record on Choice. This site also tells important details of the status many pro and anti- choice actions in OUR Congress.

Abortion is not the answer

LADS November 20, 2008 at 3:16 pm

think before you sign this FOCA, where would you be if your mother would have had an abortion? It is not the answer

CLAUDIA MCDONALD November 21, 2008 at 2:41 pm

PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEE DON’T NOT SIGN SIGN IN “THE FREEDOM OF CHOISE ACT” MR. OBAMA. THE BABY DOES NOT GET CHANCE TO ASK NOT TO BE MURDERED….WHAT IF YOUR MOTHER HAD ABORTED. DEAR SIR IF YOU ARE A “TRUE BELIEVER” YOU WOULD HAVE THE COURAGE TO TELL THE U.S.A. YOU HAVE RE THOUGHT AND YOU CAN NOT IN GOOD CONSIENCE SIN THIS BILL……PLEASEEEEE .

Abortion is not the answer. Prevention is. Education is. Safe Havens for women is.

We have to make children our priority, value and protect them and their mothers.

Protect them from cradle to grave….rather than a pipeline to prisons.

Adoption for children is also a ’safe haven’

I have tried to log on to sign petition but engines say they cannot locate! Can anybody help???

admin January 22, 2009 at 8:26 am

Hi,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Response to the petition is at times overwhelming our servers — at times, two people per second are filling out the petition! If you encounter an error or delay, please be patient. Thank you for supporting FightFOCA.com.

I just tried it and it does seem that traffic to the site is very high, but I did not receive the error you describe. If you could provide more information I can further research and try to solve the issue.

Thanks again,

the killers of babies will surely pay theultimate penalty. god dopes not sleep nor does he forget.

Rachelle January 26, 2009 at 3:57 pm

I agree with Joe, it should be called “The Killing Unborn Children Act” The other makes it sounds so….how should I put it, less evil!

People need to wake up and see that killing a baby is NOT a choice, it must NOT be done!! It is murder! PERIOD. Call it what you want! Murder is murder!

Pres. O will be making a BIG mistake if he signs this bill. However, I have a sick feeling that he will. He then will have to answer to GOD for that mistake!

I will continue to pray the Pres. O will not sign the bill.

It is impossible to de value any life without de valuing ALL life. Abortion is not just an abomination in the here and now but a horrific harbinger of future. Nearly everyone will in time be that person deemed no longer ‘worthy of a place on this planet’

tony a gallegos February 6, 2009 at 1:13 pm

i want them to stop abortion

Judy K STIERS August 29, 2009 at 2:26 pm

I pray that our President and elected officials will NOT pass the Freedom of Choice Act. We need to education our youth about abortion – a nice word for murdering of an unborn child.
