AUL aids in advancing important House Bill to Senate

by Melanie Johnson on March 30, 2009

An Oklahoma Senate panel advanced House Bill 1595 on Thursday, March 26th, where it is expected to pass. This bill would ban abortions based on the gender of the fetus and require women to provide person information and their reasons for having abortions. AUL’s Oklahoma State Director Maressa Treat has been working with local groups, including Oklahomans for Life, to help pass this important bill.
