Sotomayor Would Uphold Roe v. Wade, Says Sen. Feinstein

California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee and is one of the abortion industry’s most powerful political allies, said today after a meeting with Judge Sotomayor that she is confident Obama’s Supreme Court pick “has a real respect for precedent” on abortion.

In other words, Feinstein is convinced, after discussing abortion with Judge Sotomayor, that the jurist would uphold Roe v. Wade, keeping legal abortion throughout all nine months as the law of the land.
