Statement on the Shooting of a Pro-Life Demonstrator

This morning, the fatal shooting of a pro-life demonstrator was reported in front of Owosso High School in Michigan.

Dr. Charmaine Yoest, President and CEO of Americans United for Life, released this statement:

“We are shocked by this morning’s tragic news that a pro-life demonstrator was gunned down in front of a Michigan high school. We call for a full investigation into the matter and expect that the person or persons who committed this terrible act will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Its unbelivable that a person trying to save the life of another would be gunned down. Absolutely sensless.

What have we come to in our world when a person is murdered for attempting to save the lives of what they believe are children.
