Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) stated on the House floor that all three Chairmen of the Committees of jurisdiction, Chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee, Henry Waxman (D-CA), Chairman of the Education and Labor Committee George Miller (D-CA), and Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee Charlie Rangel (D-NY) refused to offer assurances that they would support the House passed language that includes the Stupak-Pitts amendment during the House and Senate conference. Boehner urged Members considering a “yes” vote on final passage if the Stupak-Pitts amendment were passed, to reconsider their support in light of the Chairmens’ efforts to undermine the Stupak-Pitts agreement during conference.

“No funding for abortion” was a deliberately misleading statement. Why else such a firm stance against the Stupak-Pitts ammendment and veiled threats that the wording will not be in the final version of the health bill.
My prayer is that the ones that held out for the Stupak ammendment will continue to hold out for the wording in the final vote for the Healthcare bill. They need our prayers.
Our Constitution and Bill of Rights are but TOILET PAPER to the CLOWNS in DC that are in the league with the United Nations, Soros, ACLU, SIEU, and SATAN!

I find it interesting that Mr. Obama insists that there will be no Federal funding for abortion, yet says that he will not allow Stupak-Pitts to stand in the final version.
