I want to thank all who voted for the Stupak-Pitts amendment. Abortion is very unhealthy on a woman’s body, and has been known to cause further infertility. Abortion has no place in healthcare. Plus, there truly is life at conception. Thank you for not closing your eyes and turning the other way like so many others do.

THANK YOU for having the courage to protect life and to defend the unborn with your vote. The thought of abortions funded by taxpayers money is appalling, (regardless of whether you are prolife or not) and I appreciate that you voted to oppose this.

You stood by your values. Doing the right thing is not easy, thank you. As a health care professional (RN), I am very concerned about government take over of health care. Having delivered my children in military hospitals I shutter to think of what government health care for the whole country would be like.
