Statement of AUL President Dr. Charmaine Yoest on new Senator Scott Brown

by Jeff Quinton on February 4, 2010

Statement of Americans United for Life President and CEO Dr. Charmaine Yoest on new Senator Scott Brown:

“Americans United for Life would like to congratulate Senator Scott Brown on his swearing-in today and welcome him to Washington. Although the Senator’s support for Roe v. Wade has been widely reported, Senator Brown also opposes federal funding for abortion, supports strong parental consent rules for minors, supports a ban on partial birth abortion and supports promoting adoption as an alternative to abortion. On these and on many other issues, we can find common ground with the new Senator and we look forward to working with him.”

I have donated to AUL Action but do not know if it is tax deductible. Please email me the answer.

now that is common ground worth talking about – thank you AUL and Dr Charmaine and God bless!

Interesting how we only get half the story from the media…thanks for sharing the rest of Scott Brown’s views.

Does AUL believe there should be exceptions to abortion, such as to “save the life of the mother”?

Eileen Collopy February 23, 2010 at 2:49 pm

there are no exceptions – God will decide what will happen to the mom :-)
